Current Works of Glass is the teaching studio of Jennifer Anne Kelly, a glass artist living on the Mississippi River near Carleton Place, Ontario, Canada. Jennifer’s fine art is available for sale and exhibit at www.jenniferannekelly.com
Jennifer has studied at the Ottawa School of Art, The Studio at Corning in New York, Pittsburgh Glass Center, and enjoyed the expertise of many renowned teachers and mentors.
Jennifer works with stained glass, fused and kiln formed glass, pure silver and metals. The process, including sand blasting and kiln work, is completed in her studio beside the river. Her work can be found at Cirque Du Soleil boutiques, Montreal Musee des Beaux Arts boutique, and select exhibits in Ontario.
In the spring of 2015 Jennifer moved her studio to the McArthur Island Mill at 100 Mill Street in Carleton Place, Ont. This incredible light filled space is the perfect place to be inspired and have fun.
I am so enthusiastic about all the wonderful magic that can be created with glass that I want to share what I discover with others. Come and spend some time in my studio and share in the creative process. Beginner and intermediate courses are offered throughout the year. I keep class sizes to a maximum of four people so that each person gets proper attention. Feel free to contact me if you would like to customize a class for your specific goals.
